About

Architecture is a discipline. We treat it that way.

Founder story

“Every broken Salesforce org tells the same story.”

Every broken Salesforce org tells the same story. A feature gets built. Then another. Then a consultant adds a flow. Then a trigger. Then an integration nobody documented. Five years later, nobody knows why anything works — and nobody dares change it. I have walked into that story more times than I can count. The problem was never the features. It was always the architecture beneath them.

Seven years. That is how long it took to go from building page layouts to redesigning the data models that sit underneath an enterprise's entire revenue operation. Service Cloud first — case models, console architecture, automation layers, the infrastructure that thousands of agents depend on every single shift. Then Sales Cloud — pipeline design, forecast architecture, the places where broken data models cost real revenue. Then integrations that don't fall apart at scale: Platform Events, JWT-secured APIs, systems designed to survive the chaos of a real enterprise.

Then 2024 happened. AI stopped being a conference topic and became a deployment target. Most enterprises rushed to run a pilot. Almost none could get it to production — because you cannot bolt an AI agent onto a data model that was never designed to support one. I spent the better part of a year going deep: agentic system design, retrieval-augmented generation, the evaluation pipelines that tell you when your AI is drifting before your customers do. The conclusion was clear: this is an architecture problem, not a configuration problem.

VELZORN exists because that gap is enormous and most of the market is not equipped to close it. Not a body shop. Not a reseller. An architecture and consulting firm — small by design, senior by necessity — that measures success by what actually changed in the business, not by how many days were billed.

Philosophy

Three principles guide every engagement.

01

The data model is the system.

Everything else — automations, integrations, AI — is downstream of the data model. Get it right and the rest becomes tractable. Get it wrong and no amount of consulting hours will save the org.

02

Real-time is the default.

Batch jobs are a 2010 pattern. Modern enterprises run on events, streams, and sub-second decisions. We design for that as the default, not the exception.

03

AI is architecture, not a feature.

You cannot bolt agentic systems onto a CRM that was not designed for them. AI-native architecture is a different discipline from AI-augmented configuration.
